Amtrak Hosts Open House on Station Plaza-Public is invited to review Station Plaza concepts

PHILADELPHIA – Amtrak is advancing planning and design for one of the more visible projects of the Philadelphia 30th Street Station District Plan, Station Plaza, the grand civic place surrounding all four sides of 30th Street Station. On July 12, from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the North Waiting Room at 30th Street Station, Amtrak will host an open house for members of the public to review concepts for Station Plaza at 30th Street Station. The event is an opportunity for interested parties to learn more about the project, ask members of the project team questions and most importantly, provide feedback.

The public is invited to learn more about the project by visiting http://www.phillydistrict30.com. Here visitors can get the latest project information, sign-up to receive project updates via e-mail, review news coverage and more.

Completed in June 2016, the Philadelphia 30th Street Station District Plan is a long-range, joint master planning effort led by Amtrak, Brandywine Realty Trust, Drexel University, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) to develop a comprehensive vision for the future of the 30th Street Station District in the year 2050 and beyond.
